Last night we ventured ALL the way out to Yorkville and had dinner with my parents at Stonefire. We were supposed to celebrate the day on the golf course but unfortunately, with the weather the way it was, we called it off. My Dad's a great guy and has taught me so much. I could say a lot of things about my Dad but mostly he's very generous, relational, honest, a man who stands firm in what he believes and loves to have a good time!
(Carrie here...) And today we met my Dad & Grandparents for lunch at Nick's Cozy Corner. When I think of [some of] the words that describe my Dad, I'd say: hard-working, patient, good listener, gardener, Mr. Fix-It, detailed. . .and, most importantly, rabbit hunter. I love my Dad and am glad that today was a day to celebrate him! Here's a pic of my two Grandpa's, too!
