Bye, Bye Old Basement

We took the plunge and made the big decision to get our basement finished...and today was day #1 of the project! Here are a couple pictures of what it looked like before we moved everything out so we would remember the old look. Pretty cute, huh? It's a partial basement with a crawlspace and, to our benefit, it's already roughed in for a bathroom which saves us lots of money. Actually, if it wasn't, we wouldn't even be getting a bathroom.

And here are some pics of what it looks like after today with the framing almost complete! This is very exciting! We have lots of decisions left to make about trim, colors, bathroom, etc, etc, etc. More updates to come later!
